The Shift Cam camera is a design that combines a web camera with a shift lens in photography. When using a camera, there will always be a “dead angle” where the person cannot be centered or tilted because the camera is placed above the display, or the shift lens can move the object at the edge of the image to the center without loss of image quality, thereby solving these problems.
Product Design
The body of the product is made of metal with red embellishments, as shown in the picture, and the texture is excellent. Furthermore, the Shift Cam is compact and easy to install and carry. As shown in Figure 2, the size is only 68*34mm.
Tilt-Shift Lens
As shown above, the product has an axle shift lens, which has two adjustment methods: by rotating the metal ring with knurling, the axis can be moved up and down, as shown in Figure 3; by rotating the part with a degree scale at the back, the axis can be moved in an annular shape. The effect is shown in Figure 4. Together, the two can be adjusted at a wide range of angles.
Design Details
The back of the product has a USB-C port for connecting to devices. The bottom has a standard 3/4 threaded hole, so you can connect accessories such as a monitor stand or even a tripod. At the same time, since the center of gravity of the product is off, it can also be directly placed and used, so you can enjoy higher image quality without an additional stand when going out.
